What is “No Kings”?

The No Kings movement emerged as a grassroots response to the Trump Regime’s authoritarian, ‘king‑like’ destruction of our freedoms and our democracy. Millions of  people around the country, and around the world join together in defense of constitutional rights, civil liberties, and democratic norms. The third national gathering, No Kings 3.0, is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026 and will feature coordinated rallies in thousands of cities across The United States

Kansas City No Kings Event Details

The Kansas City rally will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Mill Creek Park – The Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. The gathering kicks off around noon, with speakers from various organizations taking the stage before the march, which is slated for 2 p.m. . Local chapters of Indivisible Kansas City, 50501 Kansas City, Stand Up KC and many other partner community groups are hosting the event, emphasizing a peaceful, non‑violent street rally that encourages participants to “rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.”

Why Kansas City?

Kansas City’s rally is part of a broader strategy to bring the movement to diverse regions, ensuring that the message reaches both metropolitan and Midwestern audiences. By convening at Mill Creek Park, a central public space with plenty of room for the crowds that have been filling up No Kings protests across the country.

Who Will Speak?

Attendees can expect remarks that highlight recent illegal federal and state actions on civil liberties, call for coordinated civic engagement beyond the rally day, and offer resources for continued activism such as volunteer opportunities and signature drives.

How to Participate

If you plan to join, arrive early to secure a spot in the plaza and consider bringing water, a mask (if desired), and signs that convey the “No Kings” slogan or any additional messages that are near and dear to your own experience.
